Our Philosophy
Vision and Objectives
At Fibre Reinforced Plastics, we prioritize understanding our customers' needs and actively contributing to product design. We consider all aspects, including surface finishes, structural integrity, and serviceability, to deliver cost-effective solutions.
We emphasize proactive communication, keeping customers informed about improvements or issues related to design and manufacturing. Utilizing LEAN manufacturing principles ensures best practices and consistently high-quality products. Our goal is to exceed customer expectations in all areas while adhering to timelines.
FRP aims to set the standard in composite manufacturing.
Roles and Responsibilities
FRP leverages a blend of internal and external expertise to guarantee that every phase—from product design to installation—is executed on schedule and in line with specifications. Our key stakeholders encompass suppliers, engineers, designers, and project managers.
The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager plays a pivotal role in upholding quality standards, overseeing documentation, and training quality control personnel while ensuring that all records are meticulously maintained for future reference.
Resources and Quality Plan
Upon receiving a schedule, FRP will develop a timeline that outlines milestones and responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met. All relevant client information will be documented and archived.
Where feasible, new plugs will be CNC machined in UDMDF. The Product Development Manager will verify that machined parts meet customer-approved specifications prior to delivery.
The assembly and preparation of the plug/mould will also be overseen by the Product Development Manager, who will report any discrepancies to the Managing Director.
Once the plug/mould is completed and approved, we will notify the customer for sign-off. Production can then commence using the approved specifications, with oversight from a Composites Engineer.
Each material and process will incorporate a quality control mechanism for prompt issue identification. A comprehensive 'Product Construction Manual' will assist our Factory Manager, and each part produced will have a quality control check-sheet for future reference.
